Además de la enseñanza académica para post graduados, el equipo de Futuro Sostenible diseña procesos de entrenamiento y capacitación para organizaciones de base, empresas y gobiernos en negociaciones eficaces y transformación de conflictos socioambientales. Cursos de capacitación práctica para brigadas de vigilancia ambiental ciudadana son incorporados a su diseño y funcionamiento. Por lo general son proyectos de inversión los que actúan como detonantes, aunque el enfoque de futuro Sostenible busca alinear sus actividades con el plan de vida y la sostenibilidad del manejo de los recursos de la comunidad.

La capacitación en Responsabilidad Social, incluye el análisis de brechas y se orienta a alinear las iniciativas con una visión de desarrollo sostenible, fortaleciendo los mecanismos de participación ciudadana.
